The 2nd China Macau International Yacht Import & Export Fair (Macau Yacht Fair) was held at The Venetian Macau Convention & Exhibition Center from November 16 to 18, 2012. Jointly organized by Nam Kwong Group, Macau Convention & Exhibition Association and China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), the fair received strong support from the Macau SAR Government, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Stat Council (SASAC). Edmund Ho Hau Wah, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Francis Tam Pak Yuen, Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macau, and Gao Yan, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR, attended the opening ceremony.

A high-end yacht fair, this year’s Macau Yacht Fair brought together more than 30 yacht brands from over 20 countries and attracted about 45,000 visitors. Over 20 orders were placed at the fair.

Through the yacht fair, Nam Kwong Group accumulated valuable experience in operating large conventions and exhibitions, built up its brand image, and also accelerated the development of Macau’s yacht industry.
