3rd International Infrastructure Investment & Construction Forum concluded in Macau

On April 24, 2012, the 3rd International Infrastructure Investment & Construction Forum (IIICF) kicked off at The Venetian. Jointly sponsored by China International Contractors Association and Macau Economic Service and organized by Nam Kwong Group, the IIICF serves as a platform for communication, exchanges, cooperation to facilitate discussions on hot topics on international infrastructure investment and construction and promote mutually beneficial cooperation. The previous two editions were held in Beijing. Themed “international cooperation for common prosperity”, the 3rd IIICF invited 20 minister-level officials in charge of infrastructure from 17 countries, representatives from trade associations in over 10 countries and regions, and elites from more than 800 enterprises and relevant institutions, including more than 10 senior executives of large central enterprises and local state-owned enterprises in the Chinese mainland. The government officials and leaders of central enterprises were received by Fernando Chui Sai On, Chief Executive of Macau, and had dinner with Francis Tam Pak Yuen, Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macau, respectively.

Xu Kaicheng, Chairman of Nam Kwong Group, attended the opening ceremony as guest of honor. Duan Hongyi, President of Nam Kwong Group, attended the welcome party and delivered remarks. The Group also entertained officials and executives including Chen Jian, Vice Minister of Commerce, Li Jiping, Vice President of China Development Bank, Meng Fengchao, Chairman of China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, and Yang Jixue, Chairman of China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited, to enhance mutual understanding and communication.

With the generous support and concerted efforts of all sides, the 3rd IIICF came to an end with productive results.
