Jointly organized by Nam Kwong Group, China National Machinery Industry Corporation (Sinomach), China Aviation Supplies Holding Company and Macau Convention & Exhibition Association, the 3rd Macau Auto Show, 3rd Macau Yacht Fair and 2nd Business Aviation Exhibition themed “China Macau Distinguished Gathering” were held successfully. The exhibitions received strong support from the Macau SAR Government, Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), and State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), and won high praises from media and all sectors of society. The land-sea-air shows together shaped the brand of “China Macau Distinguished Gathering”.

The three exhibitions featured unprecedented scales and numerous highlights, and achieved synergy effect. The number of exhibited vehicles and brands and the exhibition area of the auto show increased 10% compared to the previous edition; the yacht fair for the first time had a floating exhibition area at Macau Green Island Yacht Club in addition to the indoor exhibition area; and the number of planes on display increased from 11 to 16. During the exhibitions, a number of companies held new product launch ceremonies and trade cooperation conferences, further extending the function of the exhibitions. In particular, the new vehicle test drive, onboard experience activity, yacht tour and dinner party left a deep impression on and delivered new experience to VIPs and exhibitors.

More than 20 sideline events and activities were held, boosting the added value of the exhibitions. In addition to the exclusive service for VIPs, the events and activities included trade summits, contemporary Chinese art exhibition, golf competition, high-end red wine tasting, supermodels’ performance, vintage car parade, photos exhibition, “Bank of Communications Cup” children’s drawing contest, children’s painting scroll, and children’s remote control car experience activity, reflecting the global and high-end nature and good quality of the exhibitions.

To increase their enthusiasm, visitors were encouraged to take part in a lucky draw to win prizes such as an expensive car, a bottle of Vallado Adelaide Tributa 1866 Port, precious metal, and car models.

The 2013 “China Macau Distinguished Gathering – Macau Auto Show, Macau Yacht Fair, and Macau Business Aviation Exhibition” lifted the overall level of Macau’s convention and exhibition industry, enriched the cultural and entertainment elements, promoted the development of Macau’s tourism industry and other related industries, and boosted the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Macau. Through holding the exhibitions, Nam Kwong Group performed its social responsibility and built up a good image as a central SOE.
