The Macau Auto Show was approved by UFI in 2015 when its fifth edition was being staged, making it one of the top-notch international events in the world. This honor came after the event was recognized in 2014 as one of the ten international exhibitions that Macau would focus on promoting in the future.

UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, is the most authoritative certification body of the global exhibition industry with more than 600 members in 85 countries. About 100 exhibitions in China have been approved by UFI.

According to assessment results, the Macau Auto Show had fulfilled UFI’s strict criteria in such aspects as scale, history, proportion of international exhibitors, and proportion of international visitors. Therefore, the event was officially approved by UFI. Nam Kwong Group became a new member of UFI from Macau; other members from this region include Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), Macau Fair and Trade Association, and The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel.

In addition to the Macau Auto Show, Nam Kwong Group is also the organizer of the Macau Yacht Fair and Macau Business Aviation Exhibition. It will apply for UFI Approved Event status for the other two exhibitions when the time is ripe so that they can receive regular inspections and supervision, and be improved according to higher standards.
