Automobile, Yacht, Business Aviation Exhibitions Forthcoming Grand Gathering in Macao |

Known as Asia Pacific's first land, sea and air show, the Grand Gathering will be staged again in Macao from November 3 to 5, 2017. This event to blend the Seventh Macao Automobile Exposition, the Seventh Macao Yacht Show and the Sixth Business Aviation Exhibition is to mark its seventh year. After seven years of meticulous cultivation, the three exhibitions have become the high-level and high-profile large-scale international exhibitions with considerable influence in the region. With certification of UFI, the Global Association of Exhibition Industry, it has ranked among the international brand exhibitions. The overall size and quality of the three exhibitions will be further enhanced, with the total exhibition space amounting to 100,000 square meters. It is estimated that more than 160 automobile, yacht and business aviation brands and related products from nearly 20 countries and regions will be on display; over 80 activities will be held to deliver a thrilling event for the locals as well as the tourists. To Build a Premium Platform for Brand Product Exhibition and Import & Export As the largest car show in Hong Kong and Macao, the annual Macao Automobile Exposition will attract lots of prospective car purchasers. To be held at Venetian Macao, the exposition will cover a space of 65,000 square meters for more than 100 well-known car brands and related businesses, representative agencies and industry alliances from over 20 countries and regions. More than 400 motor vehicles in over 10 models will be displayed, including luxury cars worth tens of millions of yuan, brand name cars, collector cars and racing cars. Three pavilions are set respectively for the luxury cars, imported cars, and the cars made in China. Leveraging the geographical advantages of Macao radiating its influence to Southeast Asia and connecting the Portuguese-speaking countries and the international market, Macao Automobile Exposition in response to the Belt and Road Initiative promotes the implementation of the development strategy of “One Center, One Platform”, to demonstrate the achievements of China's automobile industry and build a premium product exhibition and export & import platform for Chinese brands. The exhibition will include about 20 professional high-level forums and agreement signing ceremonies to be jointly organized by international organizations based in Brazil, Portugal, Mozambique, the United States, Italy and Slovakia, government departments and automobile industry associations; the event will gather relevant experts, scholars, senior executives from the automotive industry and media elites to jointly promote the development of the automotive industry in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and the world at large. In order to reward the general public, this automobile exposition charges no admission fee; parking for no more than 3 hours is free as well. More than 40 popular activities including photography competitions, children's drawing, model competition, brand name car raffles, and simulated test drives will be held. The children under 1.2 meters can each get a dainty car model on the site. During the same period, the 2nd China Automotive and Marine Products (Macao) Exhibition will also be held at the Venetian?Macao?Golden?Pavilion Convention Center to expand the automotive aftermarket. Despite the "Heavenly Dove", the Yacht Show to Have an Unprecedented Scale The Macao Yacht Show: Despite the severe damage to the Fisherman's Wharf caused by the typhoon “Heavenly Dove”, we have taken the initiative to contact the Fisherman's Wharf to jointly formulate a plan for wharf rehabilitation and security support and endeavored to resume the function of the berth protection facilities and water and electricity supply. Meanwhile, we continue to step up efforts to attract exhibitors and increase investment at a scale unseen before. The show will attract more than 50 internationally renowned brands and many yacht owners from more than 20 countries including Italy, the United States, Britain and the Netherlands. In addition, the Exhibition Area of the Yachts Made in China and the Zone for Pingsha Yacht Industry Park in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area will be set; nearly a thousand professional buyers from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Southeast Asia and Portuguese-speaking countries will hold trade talks and exchange views. mAjorHon has been invited to create the theme song and the trendsetter Xu Fengli to make the MV for the yacht show. During the show, hot air balloon flying, and performances in inflatable castles for children's entertainment, water surfboards and motorboats, the youth OP sailing competitions and other activities will be organized to bring the public more entertainment. To Deliver a Business Aviation Exhibition with International Influence The Sixth Macao Business Aviation Exhibition will be held at Macao International Airport. The exhibition covers an area of ??22,000 square meters and displays 12 international mainstream models including the first Dassault 8X delivered in Asia, the Legacy 650 which flied in company with C919 in the latter’s maiden flight, and the business latitude jets from Textron Aviation which has delivered 100 such planes only 26 months after the first such plan rolled off the line. In addition to the static display of business jets, the exhibition will also cover the areas such as maintenance, hosting, alteration, leasing, interior design and financing for business jets, and offer an integrated solution platform for the purchase, financing, hosting, maintenance and operation of business jets as well as the disposal of old jets.
