On the morning of November 17, Duan Hongyi, President of NAM Kwong Group, President of Macao Convention & Exhibition Association and Director of the Organizing Committee of Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair, attended the opening ceremony of the “Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair - Haikou”. Also present at the opening ceremony were leaders including Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute President Zhang Zurong, Haikou Municipal Government Vice Mayor Sun Shiwen and Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao S.A.R. Economic Department Vice Director Xu Jun.

Duan indicated that, Macau, as an important node city along the 21st Maritime Silk Road, aligns itself actively with China’s 13th “Five-year Plan” and “Belt and Road” Initiative, is more active to integrate itself into the building of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, pushes forward effectively the building of “one center and one platform”, and strives to complement advantages and deeply integrate with the economic development of the Chinese mainland. He hoped that the activity could serve as a good service platform for economic, cultural and tourism cooperation and exchange between Hainan and Macao.
