On the morning of August 25, 2017, the 23rd Annual Meeting of China Dairy Industry Association, sponsored by China Dairy Industry Association and co-organized by China International Travel Service Limited, Head Office and NKCCI, had a grand opening in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. With an exhibition area of ??25,000 square meters and nearly 1,000 booths, the event has created records regarding the number of exhibitors and the exhibition space.

More than 5,000 people attended the meeting, including leaders from relevant ministries and commissions such as the State Food and Drug Administration, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment, and elites, experts, scientists and workers of the whole diary industrial chain from across the world.

The annual event themed on "Pursuing the Belt and Road Initiative to Promote the Global Dairy Industry Development" organized a total of four special forums; nearly 200 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises participated in the exhibition, with the exhibits covering all aspects of dairy production services, which represented the advanced technological level and production development direction of the industry.
